Mera Peak (6,476m, 21,247ft) is a beautiful trekking peak in the Mahalangur section, Barun sub-section of the Himalaya in Nepal. It is located in Hinku valley. It contains three main summits: Mera south (6065m), Mera Central (6,461m) and Mera North (6,476m). It is highest trekking peak in Nepal.
Mera Peak Climbing is an excellent adventure with moderate mountaineering experience. During the trip we can have incredible view of mountain vista; five 8000m peaks are visible from the summit including the Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cho-Oyu, Makalu and Kanchenjunga. Our Mera peak itinerary is carefully designed with steady ascent and separate day to allow plenty of time for acclimatization.
The climb of Mera peak comes at the end of a weeklong trekking and acclimatization. It is the best possible chance of enjoyable with the nature from Himalayan flora and fauna, Sherpa heritage with Sherpa run lodges and Buddhist culture.
