Mt. Manaslu 8163m is the eighth highest mountain in the world. This is located in the Mansiri Himal, part of the Nepal Himalayas in the west-central part of Nepal its name which means “Mountain of the Spirit” comes from the Sanskrit word “Manasa” meaning “Intellect” or “Soul”. Manaslu is the highest peak in the Gorkha District and is located about 64km east of Annapurna. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1. Arrival Kathmandu greeting at the airport and transport to the hotel.
Day 2. Preparation day for expedition legal formalities.
Day 3. Drive to Besisahar Bhulbhule (840m) 6hrs By private jeep overnight at Bhulbhule sort out the luagguge and everything.
Day 4. Bhulbhule to Syange (1100m) 5-6hrs. ascend about 300m.
Day 5. Syange to Tal (1700m) 4-5 hrs
Day 6. Tal to Darapani (1860m) 3hrs. a short walk a day flowing Marsyangdi river Bank.
Day 7. Dharapani to Gho (2505m) 6hrs, ascend 700m.
Day 8. Gho to Bimthang- 6hrs,
Day 9. Rest day at Bimthang visit to Ponkar lake and back to Bimthang and overnight.
Day 10. Bimthang to Dharmasala 6hrs passes via Larke (5120m).
Day 11. Dharamsala to Samagau 5hrs trek down.Through via Samdo village with a view of Manaslu southeast face.
Day 12. Rest day at Samagau
Day 13. Res day Samagau
Day 14. Climb up to Base camp (4800m) about 5hrs.Day 15-30. Climbing period.
Day 31. Base camp to Samagau
Day 32. Samagau
Day 33. Samagau to Kathmandu by helicopter.
